I went on a bike ride through my neighborhood. It was freezing and raining. Im currently holed up next to an space heater now.
Realizing that, if you ever want to take your mood and put it at an all time low, the forums are a great place to look.
The forums aren't that bad, are they? Sure, sometimes certain people can take you down a notch, but never an all time low. If an internet forum is negatively affecting your mood you should avoid it, no? Not that anybody cares but; I haven't checked here much recently, decided I'd start a play through of Skyrim again (and procrastinate on the things I actually wanted to do). Returning here hasn't been spectacularly disappointing. But it hasn't been spectacularly inspiring either. I'm actually quite mopey because I've hardly done anything in the past months. And now I've a new found interest in the SRII Dodge Viper GTS.
what no what does the shitty forums with poor moderation full of 12yos that think effortless meshslaps are good have to do with politics
Clearly you haven't seen some of the absolute shitshows that has went down in the forums, because I could go on for a literal hour just talking about all of them from the last couple months. Besides, the forums are depreciating worse this year than it has the year prior.
What i dont understand is how the beamng discord is pretty good but the forums are either really good or just... poo poo
I really don't think it's just a immaturity problem, nor is it a sensitive problem. This site has turned into a mess of drama/shitshows and it reminds me of Thwomp from Mario.
I really only frequent the same handful of threads, so I must have missed all the action. Although I used to be here almost daily. A fault on my part, as three threads clearly does not constitute as the 'majority' of the forums. The userbase has shifted somewhat, maybe not the nicest shift but a shift none the less. Audiences get bigger, peoples' tastes change, some lose interest, etc. Older users of any forum will say it was "better before" regardless of the community, the same applies here. The game itself has never been better though. It's unfortunate that the outward image of the forums does not reflect that.
