I am only on the very start of the car just working out the best way to make them and it would be nice if I could get some info to help
Please, if you have progress, post it. If you read the rules of the forums, you're required to post at least a little progress before making a thread.
To make a thread, you must have consistent progresses to show, better if in-game screenshot to show. Do not make a thread if you downloaded a 3D model and opened it in your 3D model with little to no changes. Do not make a thread if you just started your 3D model.
Hey man as an Aussie, really sick to see you’re building Troy Candys favourite clubby, but before you post a thread, you’ve gotta make some development progress and attach pics to show. If you’re having trouble starting, my best advice would be to look at the model of the VY SS found in Gran Turismo 4 for inspiration, as the VT-VZ, share the same body shell/platform and in regards to perfecting the grille, look at the models from Toca/V8 Supercars as VT and VX grilles are extremely similar. As for engine model, best bet is a 3D model of a C5 corvette, as I think they also had an LS1, if it was a VT it’d be a 5.0L (mate has one and they’re P plate legal in NSW) (although if it was a series 2 VT Clubby, it’d be an LS1), I can get you pics and specs of everything if you want as I know where to find it all but you’ve gotta make a start on it man. --- Post updated --- Also, a couple of my mates have had VX SSs if you want me to upload pics here for inspiration
