Has the beamng drive team ever expressed support in the idea of bringing multiplayer to beamng drive? Also are they thinking of making more unanchored scenery objects. (Ex: crash into a tree and the tree falls over whilst slowing down the car and damaging it.)
For multiplayer, here's an answer copied from the FAQ Now you may say, "it can't be that difficult considering that teams like BeamMP have done it. However, BeamNG's multiplayer vision is true, 100% accurate multiplayer. BeamMP is a 3rd party modification with it's own bugs and issues, and is far from what BeamNG officially would want in the game. As for unanchored objects: There's currently no way (afaik) to selectively turn off physics objects, so doing that now would cause significant lag. Don't know if the developers have said anything about this recently.
Damn dude i had the same question! If only there was somethin akin to a "search function" to find people like-minded that might have the answers too.... Oh well, im gonna have to ask the same question too soon then!
Its never going to be native, and as it stands right now even with BeamMP its still not that great. Its very very stuttery and slow, and lags a ton if you have more than a few cars.
