i just want one mod .. toyota soarer z30 or nissan silvia s13 I see one wip mod for silvia s13 from lj74 but don't know if he will release it or not.
I understand that I will have to pay the modder to do this for me on purpose. but I don't know who is ready to do it for me

The S13 should be releasing, right? Im fairly sure that one is coming out eventually.

 

S13 will be getting released free on the forums, no need to worry about that

This thread is so calm, it's very nice to see. When I saw "private modders" I thought I would have my weekly dose of salt and drama ending in a locked thread but seems not. I hope the community will go in this direction in the future.

Here's what i got to say about this thread. I dont want to spend too much of my early a** morning (1:30 am) reading everything, but Private mods aren't usually "ordered" nor paid for as far as i know. I've gotten to know a few private modellers who dont sell their mods. Unfortunately, it's 2020 and the BeamNG community had widened with a substantial amount of new modellers who make their own mods for fun and usually keep them private for pretty obvious reasons. If you dont know those reasons, i'll break it down in a sentence or two.

A lot of hard worked mods (sometimes, WIP, Beta's, unfinished) get put onto a Third Party Website (TPW) where they are downloadable for somewhat "free". However, despite that you might think you're fine, you may end up having a serious virus on your computer and ontop of that, even if you didnt receive any kind of virus, those "download" buttons aka "sharemods" is a sneaky link which sends money to the person who uploaded the said mod. You dont see this, but those links are ways for these nasty humans to make profit off of a mod they dont own and whether or not their intentions are to give you a virus, you can get them and sometimes they can be pretty bad.

You can try to work you way around making a strong connection/ friendship and trust with Modellers, although by that i dont mean "hey i love your mod", "can i see pictures of your mods?", because thats really really obvious that you're working your way up to some friendship simply for mods. I've gained somewhat some trust with private modellers.

So to sum up everything, no you can't order private mods unless those kinds of people still do exist and you can't just ask for mods anymore, the whole squad laughs at you and they get mad pretty quickly. They're like cats on catnip, one touch and your hand is gone. 2020 is no joke. It's full of serious people, including serious, confused, righteous Karens. Be weary.

 

Can we just take this moment and appreciate the peacefulness of this thread? This is the most rare thing that can happen on this website.
