Can't play singleplayer, defaults to BeamMP

Earlier today I was playing on my own using steam.

Right now I go to start BeamNG from steam and it only says "play MP" like it would if I would have used the BeamMP launcher. Even clicking on BeamNG.drive.exe in file explorer, directly in the steam common steamapps folder will do the same.

Is there a way to fix this so I can play BeamNG on my own again?

You might want to bring this issue up to the BeamMP devs, as it was created by a separate entity and support can't help you here.

sounds like core files were replaced. you may want to do a reinstallation.
