Finally had time to post an update... I haven't done much because I've had lots of schoolwork and other more important projects such as repairing the orange Fiesta to make it road legal This is definitely not all the progress because it has been such a long time since the last update and I can't remember everything I've done. I still decided to make the AWD powertrain even though about a year ago I said I wasn't going to do so. Everything works and breaks correctly, the front diff lacks textures but otherwise it's done. Sports shifter Yellow fog lights Huge race (or rice) front spoiler Gradient windshield and wunderbaums to keep that old interior fresh "Houndstooth" seat fabric, standard on 70s L models Chrome & painted fuel caps. The painted caps usually had no locks, it's not a mistake that this doesn't have one Beater Fiesta - the scariest 45 hp you'll ever meet (current rusty skin is only a placeholder and will look much better in the final version) It has rust everywhere and it tries to kill you all the time. The brakes are there but they're very old and were last maintained 25+ years ago. Every suspension bushing is worn and loose and the shocks do nothing but add weight. You can't even see anything, the windows are very dirty and dusty. If you didn't already roll over and hit a tree, the musty & moldy interior will definitely make you sick. Things this fiesta still needs: rusty exhaust moldy carpets and steering wheel dusty dashboard old looking lights snapped interior door handles (a very typical issue) loose tie rod (won't steer immediately) throttle lagging and cutting out randomly like in my green fiesta (if I'm lucky enough to smash my keyboard just right so that it writes the code) your suggestions? The green Fiesta I bought for spare parts runs and drives great now. I installed the driver's seat from a Mk2 XR2 and cleaned the seatbelt This thing has currently no brakes at all because the whole brake system would be too hard and expensive to repair. Some driving on a field: 40 hp has never felt so scary before. It doesn't go fast or accelerate fast but the 70s suspension, stripped interior and no brakes makes it feel unsafe. The throttle lags horribly for some reason and causes some of the shifts to sound like bwwaaaaAAA---bwaaaahh.... The metallic sound at 0:56 is just the brake caliper grinding against the disc, it's nothing more serious And last but not least, the (new) green Rodeo Fiesta in BeamNG
Looks sweet! Can`t wait for more! (I can wait, don`t worry) Also, at the begining, WHAT IS THAT PEUGEOT? WHY IT HAS SUCH A BIG CARDBOARD SPOILER?
It's my ricer 405 that I made ugly on purpose. It also had a paint can exhaust but it fell off after it hit some bumps Yeah, I straight piped it because the muffler had a huge rust hole in the middle
Wow! That's some helluva progress irl.. Guys, if this dude isn't posting progress on beam forums, don't complain! He be doin cwaaazy stuff in real life!! That is amazing. Kudos to you!!
at my fiesta the outer door handle broke off ...and the shifter... it look fantastic, i hope it comes out soon. whenever I see this tread I have to think of my XR2
I believe the dude photo scanned as well as the fact that this thread has existed for a year and some change dude probably had time to work things out
