So, I'm very experience with the modding of engines and modeling and stuff like that, but i havent touched suspension mods before, Im looking to create a pack of custom suspension parts for big trucks. Where would i even begin? im not worried about texturing as its too confusin for me at this point anyway, but what files do i need and how should the zip file look for something like that as I cant imagine it'll look the same for an engine mod folder. any help is greatly appreciated!

So, you will need the Suspension jbeams, which you can find in the games Installation folder in content/vehicles/vehicle.zip
Then you just make a quick zip folder structure, so the.zip/vehicles/nameofvehicle
And throw the Suspension jbeam files into there.

you need to know how to work beamspring alot too just to let you know. Its not as easy as connecting the jbeams. You need to make arms and a springy suspension based off what you want

you dont necessarily need to model the parts of the suspension. You just need to mess with values a bit. Alot of trial and error
