Update Speculation thread

i was considering recently how nearly every recent new car in the game has at least one fairly unique aftermarket variant (the baja piccolina, the hopper crawler, the bluebuck lowrider) and I can't really think of any that would make sense for the wendover, other than perhaps a limousine config. the FWD layout lends itself well, and considering they might make a 2 and 4 door like the bluebuck, it's not too far fetched an idea. plus, it just suits the tacky 80's aesthetic so well.

 

I won't lie, I would really love to see every car have a special variant, and it does seem to be a new trend for the devs. Pigeon JATO, Roamer Baja 1000, Burnisde Hot Rod and Vanbus perhaps?

Besides the coupe, perhaps a lift-back version? Maybe the coupe can be the USDM spec, and the lift-back is the Euro-spec version (with some sort of backstory, like "Wendover tried to develop cars for the European market, but no one bought them because of it's cheap interior and soft suspension").

 

reminds me of the chevy corsica, i'd love to see european spec bumpers, plates and light for it (and honestly all US vehicles since that stuff normally needs to be changed for importation)
personally tho for the unique variant i'd love a limo or some sort of taurus SHO sleeper or maybe even a convertible
either way im more excited for the wendover than i was for the vivace lmao

Although this is likely another joke, I don't really see a utility/pickup Wendover happening. Most utes were never sold in the US, and Soliad doesn't seem like the type of company which would bring one of these rare exceptions.

Okay, since we know that West Coast and JRI are getting a revamp. I wanted to make a list on what the state of all the BeamNG maps would be afterward.

Currently we're getting to a point where there aren't that many maps left to get revamped (And part of me doubts an Automation Test Track revamp) which means that we'll probably get a new map in a year or two.

 

Man i dont think we are getting more maps, i think after they are done with revamps whats next is making sure all maps are "career mode compliant". Also, in all honesty and feel free to correct me if im wrong but... i dont think the devs have even hinted at any new maps even being in the conceptual stage, and i havent seen anyone in a while talk about missing maps in the game. We got pretty much everything in terms of maps that we requested, even if it isnt what we expected/dissapointing (Im looking at you WCUSA).

 

Yeah, I have to agree that those are some fair points. I guess only time will tell.

 

What's wrong with ATT that it needs a revamp?

 

ATT does not need anything outside of maybe some new road lines. ETK Driver Experience Center needs a new coat of paint but otherwise it's fine as it is.
WCUSA is getting a update but I'm still worried that it's still not going to be good based off of dev comments. JRI I don't think anyone has seen anything outside of a passive comment the JRI is getting anything soon.

Snow map and a proper left hand side map that is not just a race track + a small area (ATT and or Hirochi Raceway are examples of race track + a small area), and no ATT's single snow road does not count.

 

I've been on the map and some areas just didn't seem to be that detailed and a little rough around the edges, but I guess what I was trying to say that it doesn't need a full revamp, but maybe just some extra detail so I'll edit my comment.

 

I'd just change it to say updated or parts need repairs.
