Since dumbasses were getting the development screens locked I'm just starting a thread for this PoS. Will I ever really finish it? Idk. Don't expect it this year though. It's a 1962-1978 International Loadstar, specifically the one with the butterfly hoods (aka 'Binder' model from '72-'78). I'm not planning on a whole plethora of configs at the moment; but I do plan on a farm truck, fire truck, box/delivery truck, and maybe an extended cab 4x4 with a pickup bed. I actually really never considered modeling this truck (although I love them) until Snowrunner came out and it became a community favorite there. Yes, the poly flow is absolute shit right now, the mesh is only at like maybe 20%, a bunch of the parts are placeholders, and I'm sure my obsessive ass won't quit editing it until the last possible moment. I'm really not very proficient with Blender these days anyway. Here are screenies of the jbeam in-game and the mesh in Blender. 10/2/20
Noice! Old trucks in game now.. we have the t series, jargl p series(scania truck) MAN, now this!! Yaay. Take your time OP! Us annoying forum members can AND WILL HAVE TO wait. Also, I apologise on behalf of all the forum fuckery that's going on.. some 'people' are worse than kids... Wellll this is now on my watch list. Yay All the best to you!
Thanks. It's no muscle car or super truck (top speed is only like 55-60mph), but they really are badass old trucks -- a lot of them are still in use today, I even saw one fighting a wildfire a couple weeks ago.
This looks epic and I am so hyped. Would you possibly be able to make a fire department skin for it? Just so we can actually have a fire truck in game for once other than the ETK 6000
So I finally made the headlight bulge area look mostly correct, started a bunch of interior stuff I'm not ready to show yet, worked on some poly flow (still needs *a lot* more work), started modeling the powertrain, then gave it some basic textures for a quick screenshot. Unfortunately my time has been otherwise occupied and progress has been slow.
Probably just the gas V8 engines; 304, 345, and 392 (193, 197, and 236 horsepower respectively iirc), as I don't have access to an IH diesel for custom sounds. The 1600 came standard with the 304, 1700 w/ 304 and 345, and 1800 w/ 392.
And someone will probably make an engine pack for it... Like the t series engine mods.etc.. btw would there be a very high torque N/A V12? That would be cool.... I mean.. if it fits..
