Soliad Wendover is getting released

This is amazing! I found out yesterday on the official BeamNG Instagram page. Can't wait! Thank you devs!

 

Don't hold your breath, it's very early in development and people are still whining about it, begging for it not to be released for some reason. That's what got it shelved last time... (Edit: from what I can tell, it's a done deal and it's getting released, but the anti-Wendover crowd is pretty stupid.)

Here's hoping this time, the devs will ignore the very vocal minority of people who really do not want the Soliad Wendover.

 

Still, lots of people want it.
And those 8 kids who don't want it can ignore it in the vehicle selector, delete the files for it and most importantly should shut up!
They are arguing about something they know nothing about it. It may surprise them and it could be their fav vehicle. We don't know.
And when it gets cancelled on their fault, they will have a hard time here, cuz everyone will be mad at them.

I look forward to it, and like 99% of the other people do as well!

The Wendover is just a LeGran in a different form factor.
Making it a coupe was a step in the right direction, but it appears to be such a long ass coupe that it might as well be a sedan.
The V6 is going to be just as “meh” as the LeGran’s I4, and I bet the suspension is going to be just as numb and uninspired.
Technically, the LeGran and Wendover are pretty different, but when we finally get to drive the Wendover it’ll probably feel the same. Maybe it should have a shorter wheelbase?

i hope for some insane configs too, like a... Crawler Wendover? wait, what did i just said?

 

ooh, that'd be amazing - but I feel like we'll have to settle with the sunburst. A Wendover doesn't feel like a good crawler platform to be honest; as much as it is cool and awesome, I don't think it is realistic.

No, that was actually a very good mod that added a Soliad to Beam. i think it was called the Legran Addon. Unfortunately, i'ts outdated now.

 

To be honest I don't think the Wendover looks that bad.

Are you planning on fixing your mod (legran) so we can use it in this update? I sure do miss using your mod for my default. something with the front suspension causes a corruption now.

 

I don't think insults are a necessary part of showing support for something.

 

I'm frankly looking forward to the Wendovers release. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's the last car in the list of original renders set out back in 2012/2013 by gabester (actually can't find the thread anymore, but it did exist before) so this provokes my curiosity with the question being "What's next?".

Another reason I'm excited for this is that the car quality in BeamNG has SHOT RIGHT UP! I mean take a look at the Cherrier! It's the laggiest car on my abysmal Athlon X4 845 but crashes and drives the nicest, the quality of the Wendover is going to be simply immaculate and I cannot wait.
