reversing camera and parking sensors on the newer cars and better working mirrors

Parking sensors? But why? Better working mirrors? We have working mirrors already, not sure how they can be improved. Reverse camera? That would be pretty cool and probably doable.

A reverse camera is very possible, just a mirror texture with an overlay.

Parking sensors also very possible. have 3 sets of nodes on any one space on a bumper.

node A is very far from the bumper. C is very close, and B is in the middle.

Give the nodes unbreaking, and then sense when one node is touched.

when A is touched, beep at a slow rate.

When B is touched, go a little faster

when C is touched, go a solid beep.

 

Used for when reversing and doing tight movements

 

When was the last time you had to reverse into a tight space? See? It’s just not worth it.

It’s still not worth it, working mirrors, yeah, I can see that as a use, but parking sensors is just a useless feature, and the devs definitely have better things to do.
