changing FOV not sticking

changing the fov with the controller does not seem to be sticking after the update

it just goes back to default

so far happens only in interior camera. my controller isnt pressing anything.

 

Hello, and thanks for pointing this out, as I’ve experienced something very similar.

I mentioned my experience at 11:10am UTC, Fri, 07 Aug... only for me it’s the FREE CAMERA (Shift + C) — It keeps snapping back to FOV = 60°.

I’ll have to check the interior cams to see if those do the same thing for me. Which interior camera were you using? Driver (key #2), or Relative (key #3)?

From your video, I was presuming it to be the former, but I’m asking just to confirm, so I can test it again for myself.

I hope this is a small bug they can quickly fix, as having to readjust FOV angle after every camera change could be pretty cumbersome.

 

I’m sorry to “hijack the OP’s thread”, but I wasn’t sure who you were referring to. He has an interior camera issue with this, while for me it’s the free camera.

I can’t speak for the other gentleman, but for me, I already tested it in Safe Mode, and it still happened. So what do I do in that case?

 

i were using the drivers camera. so far it is still happening i wil test safe mode real quick

yes problem still happens when running in safe mode. and it defaults to a unusable position

 

after more testing. if i change the fov in the camera settings menu. it wil stick to that.

but if i change it. it wil go back to the setting i set it to in the menu
