@P_enta is very good at getting most of the car modeled, which does take hours of his time, and also gets the other parts co-ordinated so that the mod is actually made. Without his help, someone else (usually the commissioner) would have to spend time modeling it (takes longer and also, who knows what quality it will have?) and they'd have to just ask around to get people to contribute to getting it in game, without the notoriety of P_enta.

Additionally, he documents the creation for the car on his Youtube page so that the commissioner can see what he does. All of these things make a paid product.

I'm just very sceptical that he can actually deliver the product. His modelling skills, I will not comment on, I know little about it. But, as I understand it, the commissioner wants a mod made, not just the model. He can only model the thing, yet is taking commission for an entire mod, that's the concerning part, in my opinion

... is what I was defending. And yes, you're right, the commissioner has no clue what they are doing, hence why they pay someone to do it for them. As for the wheel arch, that's the black trim piece. As for the interior, that is not finished. As for the render, that is just a blender render, not the car in game, so yes, not everything is going to line up when you quickly make a thumbnail for a video.

    Not everything is dead:

Just a blender render is hardly an excuse for the messy polyflow and how the model doesn't seem to line up at all, or how the rear seats seem to be a duplicate of the front seats. I could go on, but there is little point, everyone kinda saw that already.

Look, all I am gonna say is:
    a) People are only re-posting the same thing to get more likes, which I inherently dislike:
(if only we had a button...)
    b) He is providing a service, and if people would help instead of going "the service isn't good enough/big enough/organized the way I'd do it, etc, etc" it'd be a lot more helpful to both him and the end consumer (who we pretend to care so much about).
    c) You are the creator of something (albeit a stylized brick, but that still requires skill to get in-game) so perhaps you could help. I help in the meager way I can.

P.S. - Sato, you really joined the forums only to end up complaining? (on 2/2 posts?)

My forum age hardly makes my opinion less valid, does it?
I see a problem that I think should be addressed, and I point it out. I know you want to defend this person here, but perhaps find a better argument for it?
I'm just a concerned person who sees a problem, that is all

Can you by chance include the f55 version of this car, the 4 door version of the one your making? I think it would be really neat to drive my Irl car in beam!

This looks amazing so far, I love the interior and the retro/modern outside (like the Mini) I can't wait!

To those of you who are criticizing P_enta because "he hasn't completed a single mod" or some other reasons, Please be aware that I am the commissioner. He is consistently updating me with progress on this mod, and being sure I approve of everything. I was aware that he has had no mods released at the time of commission. We've sorted out an agreement that allows me to pay a partial amount, until the mod is complete, where I will complete the rest. If you believe I'm dumb for paying him to do the work for me, then that's your opinion. I have faith and trust in him and the progress he's made is immense compared to what I would be able to do.

I haven't heard anything about him taking credit for other people's work, but unless there's any proof, there's no point in spreading rumors.

Please be respectful both of P_enta and any other member of the forums. We ain't here to be having a rap battle or to be comparing our banana sizes
