Maps not loading at all...

Downloaded BeamNG after a year or so. All previous files were deleted, so it was a fresh install... Tried loading any map or mission. Wont load, I am stuck every time at very similar screen. I can drive the car, I can hear the car, I can crash the car. However I cant see anything. Just void or whatever.

Troubleshooting i tried:
Installed latest drivers (GTX 1050Ti, Ryzen 5 1400, 8GB RAM), Cleared cache, restarted game, restarted PC, verified all game files (through Steam AND the troubleshooting tool in BeamNG startup popup)...

I am in a desperate need of help..

Kinda update: In safe mode the game works, but now what? Am I doomed to play in safe mode for the rest of my life?

Response from Devs:
This is a known issue, and is caused by having foreign characters in the folders the games uses (for example your Windows User name contains special characters or so)

A fix is coming in the next hotfix soon.

disable all mods, clear cache

 

I have the same issue. I have cleared the cache, reeinstaled the game several times, changed the the floder here the mods are installed (after a fresh install of the game).
It only works in safe mode.

 

i would say just play in safe mode until a fix comes out.

 

same thing did all they said clear reinstall evrety thing still didnt work i dont know how but for some the game works fine

As I said, I tried clearing cache multiple times and no mods are installed since I just downloaded the game...

 

CUT the beamng folder from your documents folder and place it somewhere else, delete the game and reinstall (DONT put the beamng folder back) and see how it works.

I have the same problem. 10 times cleared the cache. 10 times reinstalled the game. 10 times did everything, even installed the game on other drive still no success. It runs only in safe mode, but I have way too much settings to adjust to play it like that until the fix comes so....

 

Yeah, I have the same problem and nothing can fix it. I guess we have to wait for the next update
