I have a Gavril Bluebuck and a Ibishu Pessima that both have race brakes and full race pads and i still have overheating issues, especially the Pessima. On the West Coast USA track, I can only get one lap in with the Pessima and on the braking zone for the long straightaway, the brakes overheat and fade. On the Gavril, I get about 4 laps before they start to overheat and fade. It would be nice to have some better brakes on all cars.

Edit: No longer happens in the Pessima after 0.20

To be completely honest, on a track, you would be using the brakes quite a lot, brake fade is possible after a while, when that happens, slow down a bit and be less aggressive to help the brakes cool down and work properly. If the brakes aren't pre-heated, give yourself time to do a warm-up lap to heat the brakes and if they are, try not to be too aggressive. If the temperature gets over 500*C they will start to fade, meaning braking will be more difficult and slower.

You should also report this bug to the moderators on the 0.20 discussion thread if you're getting annoyed with it.

or use engine braking into the corners, but use it carefully and don't dump the clutch, otherwise thats one way to end an aspiring motoring career

I didn't realize there were front disc brakes available for the bluebuck and I had the race drums on the front. I put on the race disc brakes and it no longer happens.
