Audio feedback time! I think I may have said this before but please oh pretty please can you make the ground tire audio effects louder. At first, I thought the vehicle's engine audio was overpowering the tire effects audio but even with an electric silent engine, the tire audio is very quiet. Even if you don't agree, could we at the very minimum get more audio group sliders so that each user could adjust it to their personal preferences?
The wheels/tires got proper and organized names, as well their sizes fixed (some of them where off previously). The worst that can happen if some old configuration mods to load without tires, as they would be trying to reference the old wheel/tires names. The mods need to be updated. Corrupt install, or broken mods https://documentation.beamng.com/support/support_tools/safe_mode.html https://documentation.beamng.com/world_editor/overview.html Documentation is work in progress. Some pages are missing, others are referring to previous versions of some tools. All/Most the feature from the old editor should be available in the new editor, plus new features.
This issue happens in certain situations and afaik it's not related to one vehicle, you can press "ctrl + r" as workaround to fix broken glass.
So... about the Port. While it's very much now possible to get a T-series and trailer down underneath the cranes (and believe me, I'm thrilled by that fact), it's still not quite possible to get the same truck out of the port. There simply isn't enough clearance on either of the remaining two corners, and that Nodeoline container will ensure that any attempts to remove a container from the port will end in disaster. Turning around and leaving the way you came isn't an option either - there really isn't any place down there big enough to turn around. I suppose it might be possible to back out (around a corner and uphill - not the easiest thing to do), but I really do want some sort of through-flow. Could we possibly get that red container in the center picture moved over about ten feet, and the Nodeoline container raised up by either another level of containers, or something smaller like stacks of discarded pallets?
This happens to me as well. The shader files are loaded properly when used in safe mode (in Temp) but are somehow not in usual boot. I have tried deleting all files in /documents, doing a clean install and such, but nothing has helped. It would be much appreciated if this was addressed, and not "do safe mode and clean reinstall". I have tried those. It infuriates me that safe mode works fine but when I void the user folder it does not work at all.
I think I found the map loading problem cause and fix - If anyone has the '"LookAhead" Interior Camera' installed then please try deleting it. It sadly broke with 0.20. @Neo
I don't use beat Defender. I tried changing the installation folder according to the instructions, but it didn't work. (on Administrator window account) I've tried all c,d,e,f drives. Both SSDs and both HDDs failed to map load. This is the list of things I've tried. Clean game cache Safety mode Steam integrity check Reinstall Game (Change Storage) Direct X Shader Cache has been deleted. Direct X Re install Delete an antivirus program (Kaspersky) Reinstall Windows Service Pack Use a different computer Reinstall Windows in English ver All failed........ What should I do?
Dear people who have had the same "everything is invisible" problem, I have managed to solve it. I had my user files in /documents - which was written in JAPANESE. Although this may or may not be the problem, I found that if you move the user folder destination to somewhere else (for me, C:/ BeamNG.drive) it works. The shader files are generated. For info on how to move the user folder : https://documentation.beamng.com/support/compatibility.html < See section for Windows Defender.
I dont agree with the wheel sounds being to quiet but I would also love to have individual sliders for engine sounds. Playing on a laptop with loud fans make it impossible to hear electric motors over the sound of everything else.
I just found a funny bug, not sure if it was here before, but rolling an empty barrel in water creates perpetual motion, might need to get that fixed to obey the laws of physics.
The issue with mod cars missing wheels is not related to the wheels being changed - it's another thing, basically after the update if a Jbeam file has {"coreSlot":true} in it, it won't work properly, and a lot of old mods had this thing used for wheels. I have no idea what it does, but removing it fixes the mods for me, I guess it's some old thing that hasn't worked for a long time. I know it's an old thing but it would still be nice if it wasn't breaking all the cool mods.
Yes! I have the same thing! I suppose that it's because of some mod, in safe mode, everything is fine. I will cut all mods from repo to other folder, and check, if something is different. --- Post updated --- I have this things sometimes. But when I restart, it works fine. Maybe it's just bugged textures ir something like that.
wait how did that invisible problem even happen? i didnt have any problem except the d series hood and muffler dont load in properly
It's good that I'm not the only one who has invisible map problems. We shall wait for some patches, and hope, that it'll work. I was wondering if it's localization problem, like, idk, maybe game translation causing it.
Yep, I've already verified integrity, I think about mods only. Looks like I'll spend whole day installing mods again, and restart game everytime I download something. But, even with disabled mods, it doesn't help.
coreslot:true removes the "empty" option from the part which is supposed to stop you being able to remove parts that shouldnt be removable iirc
