Why 12k RPM? Why not the 9K and 10K and digital tachometers?

I think you could try disabling selfCollision in the jbeam, I've been doing that with some old mods and it has the potential to help

    a 1.6L Racing AE101 20V Inline 4 engine? at 11k RPM?
the only one to be known to exist is this one:

The REAL 20V 4AGE only does 8K-10K (highest race)

Those are some strong-ass cams and valves.

sure! it was only the doors peeling away, but it looks nicer, and just gonna ask, would you know how to fix the jiggly popups on only some variants? thanks! i can share that too if you know, its fine if not tho.

just replace the old jbeam file with this new one, easy as pie!

Usually for these sorts of mishaps here's what I like to try to do:

    1. Observe which part(s) of the vehicle are afflicted, more than likely it's only happening to those configs bcuz they all have one specific part or two in common that the others don't have causing a problem for them
    2. Disable self collision for both afflicted parts
    3. If that works, but you still want as much self collision as is possible, maybe try disabling it just for one part to see if it'll still work
    4. If it still happens, it's probably a deeper Jbeam issue that will take much more time to look at, at least for me

By the way, try turning on "simplified collision physics" before spawning in afflicted vehicles and see if that solves the problem temporarily. If it doesn't, even if you totally reload the vehicle and whatnot, then none of the above steps will do much lol.

Good work on troubleshooting, and let us know how it goes!

This isn't too hard to do actually, especially since I'd use the Old Buzzy Covet Sound mod as a perfect template, but the only thing stopping me from trying is that I don't know at all which level intensity sound clips I should assign to which RPM range.

but the engine is already in the mod?
he just wants the tacho that you put on, like how takumi has it set up in Initial D.
    its already there.
And IIRC, I thought it was already in the Takumi config but idk

But it's hard to identify when the two body styles should be hatchback or coupe. Is it the one with no hatch?
