Well, since the clever official vehicle team jinxed me on the 2000 Gavril Roamer, this vehicle is going to have a whole new name entirely, the "Gavril Traipse", and will be developed as a mid-size SUV or crossover. It's gotten to the point where I decided to make a thread where I can do more than just talk about progress. This is an entire vehicle I'm making so I may at some point require assistance from fellow modders regarding the mesh, Jbeam, and especially textures, and I'll be announcing open positions as I make more progress on the vehicle.
Is this vehicle going to somewhat resemble an early 2000s Ford Expedition? The shapes of where the headlights go sort of look like the headlights of that real life SUV.

You could turn it into a Bruckell. Wait.. is Bruckell supposed to be dead in 2000? Or maybe it could disappear in 2007-2008 like saturn, pontiac, etc.
I wouldn't use IRL brands as a base for whether you should rebrand it or not. You could make it another Ibishu Blackfoot, but Bruckell is an ok bet. In the wiki, the status in unknown, so we don't know if it's good or not. I would say go for it.
we had mods that brought bruckell over the 80s, also you are right to be aware of the wiki. The only discontinued brand to be confirmed so is Burnside
i was actually saying that because, i think, Bruckell is owned by Gavril. So, Gavril could have abandonned Bruckell to survive the late-2000s crisis. Edit: nevermind i checked the wiki and it doesn't.
I already am aware of this coincidence so I look for names while I move my workstation over to the family room computer, where my RX 570 decided to suddenly start working again. Looking for a counterpart for "Roamer", in the vein of Ford's two flagship SUV models "Explorer" and "Expedition", I found the word "Traipse", which means "to wander without finding one's goal". So that will be the new name of this vehicle, and I'll reformat it as a mid-size SUV or crossover so it doesn't end up conflicting further with the full-size Roamer. No new progress screens yet because everything will take a while to download and update on the other computer.

All of ford's midsize and large suv's of the 2000's had names that started with the same letter, and they all had similar definitions. so you could call this suv the ranger, because it has a similar definition to roamer, and it also starts with r
How about the Ford Runaway, based off the Ford Escape? (the Escape's first year was 2001, but I think it's close enough)
