A few thoughts of mine.

Barely Sociable is amazing.

 

1. That spam Uni stuff has been resolved with some secret sauce in the back end of the forums...
2. Its for security just because the admins dont want people having the ability to swap the names every few days on each other
3. You have to use your internal powers of control when reporting threads, I have myself reported a load of threads myself, once been given a warning over it but no warning points as a result of it, sometimes you need to be able to judge if a topic is going well or if its going massively off course, in that case avoid the thread and report it to the admins who will look at it and deliver their own ability on it if required

 

The 2 threads were going off topic and they were locked. However, you make a good point.

 

Yeah. I think people should be allowed to change names on their own, but it's your site. You can do whatever you want with it.

 

Well, until you get 30 people changing names every day and nobody knows who is who anymore.

 

I do agree, though I do believe you should be allowed to change your name once every 2 months or so.

 

Why?

 

It doesn't have to be 2 months. It can 8 months or a year. Also, the devs can do whatever they want with their site.

 

We can agree on one thing though,

I'm sure we'd all rather have someone change their name like once a month over someone making 100 alts. Let's not turn into me here.
