Thank you so much for building Talladega. Me and my grandpa love NASCAR and I have looked for years for a NASCAR map to watch cars race with him. Talladega is also his favorite track so I am very grateful for you making this map. I did also download Bristol but it did not work for some reason. It shows the mod is in but when you check the maps it is not there. I also saw that you posted a couple minutes ago that you are new to the AI roads. I have found that they like to stick to the wall on the second turn and the third turn before the finish line. Im not sure if that helps but that is what ive noticed from nonstop playing this map all week. Im also not sure if this is to difficult but the cars dont really pass each other much since there is only one path. So in the beginning when they all try to cut in front when they all start if a very fast car gets stuck behind a slower car, he has no way around and most of the times crashes and sends them both off the side usually during the first turn. I also noticed the fact that the cars slow down a lot during the turns which Im not sure if its possible to make them go faster since they may then be going to fast on the turn. Thanks so much!!!
So, since the update, ive had broken textures. Everything but the track and pit lane is orange and says no, ive uninstalled and reinstalled a couple times, anyone else having this issue?
i would have to figure it out since the new map editor replaced the old one. --- Post updated --- did you clear the cache?
i figured it out. you need to change them in the material editor and replace the white/blank texture with the one you want to use. it's a little bit different than the old map editor, but it's pretty much the same in function.
