Perhaps you've already seen some screenshots of a project I'm working on: Parklands National Forest. It's a revamped version of the two tracks from NFS:HP2 from PC/PS2: National Forest & Coastal Parklands. All objects like bridges, buildings, etc will either be replaced or redone to match the quality of BeamNG. Currently the project is in it's rather early stages although I've managed to make some real progress over the past couple of weeks. It won't be done very soon unless I get incredibly enthusiastic and decide to stay up late. Again. To-do: - Models - Roads - Textures - Clean up files - Add info and spawn points - Testing Take a peek at the screenshots made throughout development and see for yourself. If you got any ideas/suggestions/questions, please feel free to say/suggest/ask. Base map (more roads will be added but for the time being only the base map will be finished before moving on to additional features) As can be seen the two tracks (Coastal Parklands & National Forest) have been combined to create one big track. Since the grid is 4069x4069, additional roads will be added in the future. Yes this thread looks like a mess atm, will clean it up more later
What is the size of the map? 1024X1024? It's be cool if it was massive like roane or american road. Or at least Italy sized.
Currently the map is on a 2048x2048 grid however gonna change this as of today to fit more of the actual track variants as seen in the original game NFS HP. New size's gonna be 4096x4096 but this includes the bottom of the ocean too for now
I do want to add some extra roads and paths but that'll have to wait till the main concept is finished
