ISUZU TROOPER

Engine variants:
*3.1L 4-cylinder intercooled turbo diesel (Isuzu 4JG2)
*3.5L DOHC V6 N/APETROL (Isuzu 6VE1-W)

Suspension:
front: live axle front suspension with coil spring / double wishbone front suspension with torsion bars
rear: 4-link live axle rear suspension

Do you want this to be a full-blown BeamNG mod, or just something like the Russian meshslaps?

 

I'm aiming for something that compromises the two but I'm leaning more into the full blown BeamNG mod. I would also like to be as detailed as I can.

I'd recommend using either the 200BX i4 inline or the new pessima's 2.7 V6 because the real trooper I don't think had an i6. I think it only had the i4 and V6

i have the 3d body model already but yeah! a frame from the roamer attached to the trooper body that i just got

 

Hmm, it'd be easier to just put the 200bx in and pessima v6 in as you could just grab those jbeam files.

heck yes a trooper!!

long story short i only know what troopers are because my buddy bought an 88 for the lulz. we got it running (abandoned for 5 years) and took it to rausch creek in pennsylvania. it performed brilliantly until we drowned it in a puddle and the electrics got angry at us so we just gave it for free with no papers to a local. it lives on today as a trail rig as far as i know!

that all being said, once you get this working, could we possibly get one with the little cosmetic changes needed for the 88? keep up the good work, and good on you for taking on the challenge of modding!
