Thread where we complain about the download speed.

I forwarded 4433 and 8700 to my PC as those are two of the ports the updater log indicated it was listening on, and attempting to open with uPnP. Now the update is flying along.

 

The eternal problem of religion is that a man's beliefs are subject to his doubts and as a result one religion splits into two, two to six and six to a hundred. No-one fully believes what they are told, they merely interpret what they hear and as we are all unique so are our beliefs.
I find the only way to religiously satisfy yourself is to believe what you wish which in my case is nothing.

 

I stopped it, then I started it again. Look at it go!

I'm just chilling here on 605 B/s.

 

And now is done and checking files. Went from 30% with 4 hours remaining to done in about 15 minutes once I did that

EDIT: strike that. It just randomly stopped to check files and I thought it was done - still 59% to go

 

It just changed to "Checking Files" for me too. It's already at 50%!

 

Thanks - this increased my speed from 60kb/s to over 500kb/s.
