Never though I was gonna start modding but here I am. I've been learning a lot about nodes, beams, and triangles, but I still have a long way to go. I just wanted to make this because I think the Covet should be able to scream down the first bend at 165+ km/h of Hirochi Raceway like the other hillclimb cars. If all goes well, a release should be ready in one-two weeks. Covet Time Attack Pack includes: 998cc bike engine with peak 199 PS and a redline of 13750 RPM (Sorry no unique flexbody). About 2/3 of the weight of the 1.5 DOHC (Subject to change). 2 turbo options at 267 PS and 307 PS. GTC splitter to compliment GTC wing (Downscaled GTRX with less downforce). GTRX splitter and adjustable GTRX wing (just an up-scaled GTC wing with more downforce. Rear bumpers and fart can exhaust found in Lamzumi's Pack for LHD. Diffuser that actually generates downforce. Assets used with permission. I have adjusted node positions to approximate the locations of flexbodies, but 90% of the beams are the same, and triangles (except lift coefficients) were not touched. There were and still may be some issues, since the jbeam for the splitter is modified off of the one for the SBR4. One lap around West Coast to demonstrate the engine and aero. I'm not too sure if the default engine sound is right for an i4 bike engine, but oh well.
New showcase of current state of the project. This is the Hillclimb config I will be including compared to the performance of the Sunburst Hillclimb. Sorry for the terrible driving. I seemed to have made the Covet a bit faster on top end, and a bit grippier than official Hillclimb cars, but I think it's fair considering 1-3 acceleration is lackluster and on-power understeer is something you'll constantly wrestle with without proper throttle modulation. I'm happy with the current state, and I think I'll be submitting a release one I can ascertain everything works as intended.
