Just a quick question regarding licensed vehicles and the mod repository.

    I'm assuming licensed vehicles aren't allowed on the mod repo? How come they aren't allowed on there but are allowed on the forums themselves?

    Repository cannot have any sort of trademark or copyrighted content.
    You can have this kind of content of the forum, as the poster would be responsible for it.

    Does BeamNG become responsible if it's on the Repo or something? Is it because you guys like "host" the repo or something?

    Operating a website, especially but not only one with user generated content, has always been a legal nightmare in germany. :(

    And it is not going to improve..... in fact is most likely will get even worse once the disastrous EU copyright reform hits home.

    It is as such widely recommended, that if you can... you should host outside of the EU.

    Quick question, what if you were to obtain the license to these vehicles? Would you Ben allowed to post that car on the repo then?

    If you have a written permission that allows this specific use of the content, then I think it should be no problem.
