and the creator of this mod clearly doesnt like having configs that TEND to do something

A GM V8 would be good for some sort of a low-budget rat rod build.

Hahaha well said. A turbo-d ETK engine may be quite cool, especially in some flashy modern build! Maybe something from a newer ETK?

Of course! I'm thinking of digital gauges (if I can somehow do it), hydraulic handbrakes (for the trophy truck and drifter), dome lights, seats (Burnside only has one set!), Maybe a radio in the dash, more interior colours, and much more. Interior mods are always important to me (check out my mod list for proof) so I absolutely will not cheap out on it.

Ah yeah, he always helps other people make digital dashes like @Inn0centJok3r 's Focus.

Yup, he‘s definitely good at making those! And really helpful
That sounds really cool! Is a sequential transmission planned for a racing version? If so, I could give you a Sequential shifter model which I made for my own mod. Also I just had another idea... plush dice on the mirror? :p

In fact, the "Hillclimb" version has a 6spd SQ taken from the Sunburst! If I could use the model, that would be absolutely fabulous! The column shifter right now looks rather... peculiar with the 'box xD

The plush dice also sounds like an awesome idea, especially if I jbeam it properly and allow it to jiggle around - iirc Sneerik's Lancia Delta had one.

I like the wierdness of all these configurations :) You mentioned a wagon, how about a woody with barn doors and door mounted spare tyre?.

I love those doors! Maybe I should make them actually that shape instead of using a skin to replicate the wood, since the panels are indented

By that point carmakers had switched to all-steel wagons.

I can sacrifice realism for fun's sake. Who says the woody wagons were factory made anyway?

    I got 37 and it hasn't been that long, I have a chance ;)

Wagons were popular enough than making anything else than a relatively cheap-to-make steel wagon would have been stupid by 1953.

Byyy theee waaay guys, I made something desirable but not as hard as the panel can to make.

    A ute!

    upload_2020-5-29_22-29-51.png

This one's a real heavy smoker!!

I need to put a jbeamed slab of beer in the back as well, because a ute doesn't make sense without beer.
The ute jbeam is very rough and is still undergoing development, but it'll do for the while. And yes, the tailgate opens.

Ehhh, maybe someone bought it in 2020 and made it woody for coronavacation

And, hey, this is from '53

It's not a real woody, it's a steel wagon with veneer on the sides.

I'd rather have removable wood panels/stickers, like on real cars.

I normally wouldn't agree with the annoying dude, but I think a metal body with wood panelling (even if it covers more of the surface than the typical IRL ones of the era do) would be a better choice.

firstly, because no-one's made a wood structured body in Jbeam yet AFAIK, and I fear if you did you might be biting off more than you can chew, where using a metal structure you can at least Jbeam the body stucture in a fairly easy manner (and maybe have the wood panels detach like the service doors on the bus, or like the caravan's walls)
secondly, as AnnoyingDude said, if kind of just makes more sense for the era

for rough reference, here's what a typical woody of the era looks like without the wood panelling. (note that it's still the actual exterior body panel, it's not just a boring sticker or something)
