fatal GPU error GPU not responding

    can someone help me with beam when the new update released the game still worked and i enjoyed driving the vivace but all every single one of my mods were broken and i decided to fix it by clearing the cache and now every time i try to start beamng it just says fatal GPU error GPU not responding and closes ive tried locating faulty files ive tried completely uninstalling it then reinstalling and the same thing happens fatal GPU error and it closes i do not know why this is happening and i really want help with it ive spent all day trying to fix it and nothing worked

    ok i got it to launch it gpu crash workaround and im gonna try to change it to the current engine and see if it works

    it completely failed and now it wont work in gpu crash workaround so yeah this is annoying

    Then replicate the issue, and provide a Support ID as explained in the following page:

    This would allow me to have a look at your game logs to see what is happening.

    Nothing wrong in your game logs. The issue is potentially coming from outside the game, and more specific your video drivers or something blocking the game.

    Reinstalling the video drivers may help:
    Head to the Nvidia website, download and install the latest drivers available for your video card.
    Use the Clear Cache function before launching the game again.

    Then check again.
    If any of your hardware is overclocked, it's strongly recommended to return them to their stock settings.

    Please also check if you have any of these: https://wiki.beamng.com/Incompatible_Third_Party_Software
    And make sure that your Antivirus is not blocking the game. Add an exception for the game's folder if necessary.

    What he said, but i recommend adding an exception to the entire Steam folder because I've seen issues like this with other steam games and steam itself. Just don't install any viruses into your steam folder and you should be good :)

    First, this thread is more than a few days old, so it's probably a good idea to make a new thread. Second, if you have an AMD gpu then download and install the drivers from their website, if you have an Intel gpu then it is under the minimum system requirements and you should get the workaround available on steam.
