Ah, ok. I thought you were actually doing it. The only thing I would suggest is more verity in the grid. Having a few roads that are off angle, and maybe a block or two for a park.
How does this work? Added: *New Hollywood-Hills-esque area (red) *Many more streets to the center of Belasco (yellow) *A new park based on Sherman Square (green) Unfortunately, I didn't get much more added. I'm starting to run out of space (and ideas) for what I want to do with Big WCA. Also, I should mention that there's already a large park in Belasco (surrounded by the yellow squares) that was added on Tuesday.
So, I think I'm done with Big WCA. For now. Added: (names with "asterisks" (*) are placeholder names) *More expansion to the "Why-Do-Rich-People-Live-Near-Airports"* Hills (yellow) *More expansion to Cherry Town (and a new town, called "Potato-ville"*, which looks like a potato) (red) *A new squiggly road to "Bluebuck Lake"* (orange) *Tons more expansion to Belasco (green), making terrible roads and expanding the port to fill in the extremely dense lower area. Overall, I'm...pretty proud of what I've been able to accomplish. Also, I've decided to give names to all of my locations (quite a lot of these are placeholders, too)...
NFM is Need For Madness, an arcade racing game originally released by Radical Play in 2004 (2005? 2006? Nobody really knows), with NFM 2 coming out in 2009/2010 and Multiplayer being released in September of 2011. It's basically "BeamNG but really fast and mad, and with an easy built-in car creation tool." It's cool, it's pretty fun, and you can download it for free here. Anyway, on this episode of "DriftinCovet Makes Sloppy Roads and Gets All The Likes", I've been making a version of the ETK DEC that's 2x2 km. This is far more realistic than Big WCA. I have no idea why the middle's acting up like that, though. Anyway, I've added: *A loop of meh roads. *A town I'm calling "Eidelberg" in the southeast corner. (for now; if anyone has a better name, please suggest it). I've also made this version of Port. Again, no idea why it's freaking out. Anyway, I've added: *A meh river *Some roads *A town called "Gravelton" *Some industrial areas *A meh pond that flows meh water into the meh river.
What I really wanted in the current WCUSA map is that the highway is one constant loop, or multiple loops connecting different ends of the highway.
You have no idea how much I've wanted this, too... So, I decided to go one better than some hacked-up Paint.net thing. Look, Mom, I made some hacked-up loop around the mountains of WCA and took a really bad pic of it! Does it work? Yeah...sort of. It's a loop, let's put it that way.
