I'll post a screenshot when I have the chance to. Ever since the recent hot fixes were released the Bolides rear suspension seems to be really prone to collapsing. Before the hot fixes I could hard drive it for hours and as long as I didn't hit anything the cars rear suspension would be fine. Now though even small bumps have the chance of ruining my suspension. I have noticed that it only occurs on Bolides with a low ride height and relatively stiff suspension such as the Bolide Group A and my custom Bolide config.
I mean, the Bolide is (hopefully) going to be reworked anyways, so the problem's probably gonna be solved lol
No. In the first post I said that it never happened before and only recently this started to occur besides I did an experiment and softened the suspension on the Group A and my custom config and the suspension still collapsed. To give you an idea of what it was like before I could get some air then land on all 4 wheels and the suspension would be fine but now if I even go down a hill fast enough the rear will collapse. One time I was moving at high speed (270kph) and the rear collapsed and there were little to no bumps in sight. Every other car I have driven ingame hasn't had this issue only the Bolide. I know low race suspension isn't made for bumpy italian roads but this is slightly ridiculous.
I think I figured out what the issue was. I belive the Bolides rear suspension has a no rear suspension hard limiters which was an issue the Pidgeon had in the previous hotfix. The reason why I came to this conclusion is because when I was watching replays of my driving the rear would compress a lot causing the rear end of the car to smash into the ground. My cars rear suspension isn't even that low there is still a clear and visable space between the top of the wheel and the top of the wheel arch. To test this I am going to harden the compression of the rear suspention to see if that makes a difference.
not really, have you driven the group 4 version since the most recent update? it handles insanely good now, i'd bet the one thing they're likely not to touch much in the revamp will be the suspension geometry.
Oh really? Sorry, i haven't play the game ever since the last update, my pc is broken. I always remember bolide as a twitchy yet stubborn car, maybe it has changed.
Steering left to right rapidly (gamepad with no filter) at low speeds in the Competizione breaks the front wheels of the off the hubs.
