Im carrying a very heavy load and need to increase the upper limit of fifth wheel height. Ctrl-H isnt enough i need at least like 10 cm higher. Can i do this by changing jbeam files? I looked at files but couldnt figure it out

What is the relation between "very heavy load" and "fifth wheel height"?

It's the suspension that suffers from the heavy load, you can't keep raising the air suspension, at some point it's at its end.
I real life for extra heavy loads heavy duty suspension would be used, such as multiple air suspension bags, so the vehicle doesn't sink too much. Also the chassis will possibly (in some cases) have to be enforced.

on certain conditions(52t cargo, doing u turn at 10 degree), my trailer ends up making contact with the front rear wheels and renders me unable to turn. i need to raise the fifth wheel so trailer wont touch the wheels in those conditions. Ctrl-H increase it a little bit but it is no where enough

this trailer im talking about is a short mod version, it doesnt have front wheels, trucks rear wheels behaves like the front wheels of the trailer when it comes to balance. And because trailer doesnt have real front wheels, the whole front weight(aka 45ish tons) is forced upon the fifth wheel of the truck. So i need to make fifth wheels higher, my problem is unrelated to suspension

That's what you say, I drove them heavy weights for years, grew up with them in my own home. Learned to drive a loaded semi aged 10.
Of course it's the suspension pushing your tractor's bud against the floor. :)

Sorry im as dense as a rock even with the video it took me a while to understand, i think in my head i was thinking "suspension stays the same but fifth wheel part is sinking" but as your video its the suspension thats sinking. Ill try to stiffen up the suspension and let you know if it worked. Thanks for the video, i appreciate it

I think you're trying too much at once to start off from. I would recommend having a look at his mod https://www.beamng.com/resources/update-coming-gavril-t-series-expansion-pack.636/. It's outdated but you should be able to use (for testing purposes) it and maybe you can learn something from it.

Also have you tried to carry your load on all possible configs, say, the T-Series or the MAN TGS have available ?

I really liked the tranmission and cabin suspension(even though it seemed a bit useless because it doesnt dampen anything? :D), its a very nice truck. Transmission is so quick and seemless while changing gears even at very steep roads(10degree+) also its lower ratios are perfect for steep hills(500HP pulled 52ton at 17.8 degrees). For my inital problem, first it seemed like it was the same as t75 truck but then i realized i can remove the rear fenders, the covers above the wheels, after doing that i gained a substantial amount of distance between trailer and wheels. Also i moved the trailers wheels 50cm front(as front as they can be) which noticably improved handling and very slightly kept front the trailer higher and with these i was barely able to turn that uphill bend.(trailer legs were removed for both man and t75)

500HP was a bit underwhelming but i wanted to climb the whole mountain with it first :D, i will probably try 680HP next, in ets2 MAN trucks go up to 680. Btw the map im playing is american road. Thanks for the truck mod :)

edit: did you try cabin lights? They look dope
edit2: It would be crazy if it had retarder
edit3: even with high pressure brakes and full race brake pads breakes reached 935 degrees at the end of the mountain, i didnt even pass 50km/h, it would probably wouldnt overheat if i kept my speed at 40km/h

I can see you're really into it :) I had to cope with overheating brakes in real life once in the old harbor of Rouen, France. I was rolling down on a long stretched and steep cobble stoned hill in a Scania 143 with 450hp (if I remember correct). The load was a tank container (on a container chassis) which was fully filled with latex. While going down I noticed my braking took less and less effect. My brain kept telling me
"brake oil cooking, brake oil cooking" but of course that couldn't be the case. Because the brakes are pneumatic. My brains did this because
I had a similar experience when I was a kid riding my 6 geared Honda moped (actually a small motorcycle) and it's brake fluid started to fail.
Anyway, I managed to find a left turn (without fences) on to a quay side so I could prevent myself from rolling further down and I managed
to stop without further incidents. I got out of the truck and everything smelled like an industrial oven burning waste. I simply waited till everything cooled down and proceeded my way further down towards my destination. :)

On a 143 ? hmm maybe the very last of them did but mine didn't, it was an older truck already when I drove it, I was 21 btw. :)

It still had an extra manual throttle lever and a separate lever to brake the trailer only, two features that already were forbidden on the new trucks in Europe.
