Where did "agree" and "informative" ratings go?

That is true, but it also points out to people that spam threads with low quality posts (not saying this is you btw) that their stuff needs improvement

 

I would like to agree with your post sir.

 

We need a fully new reaction system, like reddits upvote system. With things kinda like awards you can give to other people.

 

I wholeheartedly agree, but I definetely won't trust people on the internet to use them the way they are intended

I could agree that "simple is better", but the "informative" and "agree" reactions were being abused specifically because the "dislike" and other reactions were already gone. I'm pretty sure human emotions don't revolve exclusively on "like".

Just remove reactions altogether if it's too much of a pain to moderate, the game should remain the main focus for the dev team after all...

 

I agree, getting a few dislike ratings for what would most likely be a bad post isn't going to send most people into a downward spiral of depression, reddit has had downvoting implemented from the beginning afaik and it works fine, why not here?

 

and thats the story of how "Agree" and "Informative" got deleted because of some dumb 12 year olds.

If we are bringing back the full rating suite, I suggest removing the alert for whenever a rating was casted
That way it doesn't feel like it's important whenever you get a rating, trolling with ratings should go unnoticed and things will work a whole lot better

If you remove the informative and agree, you might as well remove like too. Dont take me seriously, but i bet most of the reports are young individuals who are quite sensitive.

There's a solution to avoid this "drama", ignore it.

Or you could create a tool that allows you to remove reactions or remove comments that are purposely trying to start an argument or start drama.

EDIT: I dont think any of these reactions should be removed in my personal opinion. If people are to report something saying that someone is starting drama, remove their comments, warn them. If it continues, ban them. I would prefer you banned and warned people and removed their comments to stop drama rather than removing the agree and informative reactions because i believe that now people WILL start more drama. And it's obvious that you can also abuse the "like" reaction as a way to start drama too. Someone could say "you make bad mods" for example, and someone reacts with "like", thats basically the same as people abusing the informative or agree reactions, no?

Honestly, the way the forums are going, I feel like more ratings is asking for trouble and division to brew up
Probs the rating system should just bring back the agree rating, then left well enough alone
