I was comparing the two V6 options because you definitely cannot find a V8 in good enough condition for less than $5,000. I wouldn't reccomend a Z/28 for a cheap daily, especially in a snowy climate like Alaska. As great as a Z/28 is, they can't be found for cheap because they have either been garaged their whole lives or beat on with no maintenance.
Took a drive today, passed the town hall which usually has a car show Saturday mornings. There was a '55 Chevy and a pair of PT Cruisers. One of which had a Plymouth Prowler's grille...
Removed the front muffler of my car and replaced it with a 3 inch Metal pipe. Sadly not to much help with the roar between 3-4000 rpm it sometimes is so bad that you cant understand your passenger even though the car is still silent when youre not in the 3-4k Rev range
The reason why so much people lease cars is because theyre dirt cheap then. I just looked for leasing deals and found a A250 Merc for 129 euros per month or a Seat Mii for 29 euros a month also when the Leasing is done you can buy it rather cheap still or just get the next one. Also if youre more of a Jaguar Person you can have a 250hp XF-R Sport with nearly full kit for 340 euros.
Dodge Neon deal is off. Seller turned out to be sketchy as all heck, is a licensed dealer but is operating out of a residential area, claimed to be selling for someone else and "not in a hurry to sell it", has court/arrest records visible online, when I indicated that I wanted to back out of the deal he called me and tried very unprofessionally to shame/psycho-bully me into coming anyway. He implied that I might have been "like everyone else on Craigslist, wasting his time" and "blowing smoke up his [name of a farm animal]". As if I have nothing better to do with my life! Frankly I think God was looking out for me when the guy revealed his sketchiness by text message right as I was about to leave the house. If he was trying to bully me on the phone, there's no telling what he might have tried to pull in person! Oh - the reason it had no license plates in the photos is because the registration lapsed, so obviously it's been sitting for a good long while.
@Shotgun Chuck Not sure exactly what you budget is but this thing looks kinda neat. https://anchorage.craigslist.org/cto/d/chugiak-1994-ford-taurus-sho/7114478637.html Higher mileage and possibly some rust issues though.
Well within budget. Might be worth a shot. Remember the Camaro that looked good in pictures but is lucky to have survived a couple miles of gentle driving.
What does that have to do with that context? Also, I doubt there's more than a few, if any SRT-4s for sale in Alaska for that matter.
https://m.olx.pl/oferta/plymouth-fury-CID5-IDE3NA0.html#position=4&page=1 Who had a 1972 Plymouth Fury brought to Poland? Who converted it to a flatbed truck? Why is it still on pre-2000 plates? Why is it just 2200 PLN ($525)? One car, so many questions.
