the idea is nice but by putting a german sedan front on a big family US suv wont do the job for a 90s GERMAN suv. like i said the idea is great but needs way more work than it seems

 

I would love to see you change up the rear end to! it would end up looking like a hole new vehicle, either way - very well done!

 

Also, I can only think of a single body-on-frame German SUV—the G-Class, and that's a mid-size—and there weren't any full-size unibody ones until 2006 with the GLS.
Hence why this seems more in the spirit of an r/ATBGE backyard project.

 

Was there even a german suv in 90s? I can only remeber e53 x5, g class and ML class i think.

This was kinda a lol project in the first place that I didn't really intend on making into an actual mod, which was why I wasn't really trying
I don't even know if I'm gonna continue with this tbh cuz I kinda lost interest as fast as I gained it so ye

So prob it'll just be parts for the roamer since I don't wanna try and modify the whole body

I'm not sure how much it can complicate your work, but maybe it can become more interesting with swapping also the suspensions to have fully independent front and rear and adapt them to the new dimensions.
