hello bois and grils i tried to make an epic mod for en-US.json that replaces some texts in game, but the game doesnt understand any joke and its completely broken does anybody knows what characters cant be used in json files, or what is broken?
Do not replace that file, it will break up the main language of the game. Instead, you can simply add a .JSON file with your own language name, it will work as fine without having to override the base language. As for why it does not work, you may have some syntax error. Check the console.
