can i emulate a GPU to run beam more smoothly? or is there any GPU i can buy on amazon for 25$?

    I can only run beam at 60 fps if I drop my res to 640 x480 and have the graphics on lowest...

    Emulating a GPU would make things A LOT slower even if you could. Also $25 won't get you a GPU that would run Beam well at all.

    Emulating a gpu is very cpu-horsepower consumming. It's called software rendering. And you want to run a game that push trought it's spaces a gtx 1050 to get 40fps at med setting? No it isn't possible even with a 96cores 152 threads 10k$ xeon cpu. Sorry.
    And i don"t think you'll get any capable graphic card for 25buck; try to get the hand on 100$ and buy a rx 550; that is somewhat capable to run the game smoothly at 1600*900
    EDIT: Software rend isn't gpu emulating but it consit of make the cpu doing the work of a 3d accelerator (it is slow and that why we invented 3d accelerator likes 3dfx voodo 1
