Yes I know that , but Nekkit said he won't make any Polonez, because no. XD It's his decision. You shouldn't force anybody to make something for you.
The original 125 was also based on the somewhat dated 1300/1500 mechanicals. It was a stop-gap solution to expand the range upward while the brand new 132 was being developed. The Polski-FIAT 125p variant was just slightly simplified, with a custom front fascia with quad round headlights, but they are otherwise pretty much the same car.

Absolutely not. Even just the fact the a good 95% of bodywork and underpinnings are from the italian 125 is enough to contradict this.
