6.4 is the best I got, I've topped out on power and grip (and held the rolling-anti-lag button (U) throughout the race), I don't know what to do next

I disagree, the raw torque of a car that can run a 5 is uncontrollable. The twist and movement is hard to drive, especially when the front wheels are off the ground. I wish someone could create, a controller (in game) that can feed the power as needed. I know there is traction control, That is not enough when you are pulling over 3k hp. Another thing i'd like to see is a chassis based on the modern radial racer chassis with a lifting mechanism in the rear to drive the wheels into the ground

 

10.760 with a Pigeon, no mods in it, only BeamNG stock parts. I think I've reached the limits of what this little brick can handle (around 200km/h airspeed).




I used the 600cc l3 petrol engine boosted by the 150kW Nitrous and stripped it of anything unnecessary. I kept the bed so I could still have some weight at the back (I think I need it for the NO bottle too), or else it's like driving a wheel barrow at 200km/h...
The engine revs to 10k RPM with a 5 speed transmission. If ONLY i could have a 6th speed, this Pigeon would easily do a 9 or 8 second run. I didn't change the gearbox ratio though, I don't have the knowledge required to optimize it as of now.

 

no mods... Vanilla game, 707 bhp, 606 lb-ft of torque... and a bit of weight reduction

 

Remove the exhaust youll get more power

 

i did some weight reduction on mine too, just ran a 8.3

I'm aiming for a stock BeamNG vehicle to break the 60-second barrier next.

 

whats been aggravating is that my drag strip lights havent worked right since the past 2 updates. any idea on how to get them working right. Tree lights dont work at all during racing or itll glitch and out of no where just show 1 or 2 yellows

 

i have the same problem, maybe some mods are causing it, when i turn all mods off, it works better.

maybe clear cache?, didnt try it yet

 

I can see the tree only when in cockpit view. Third person lights havent worked for a few months and it's annoying.
