As the title implies are the devs planning to remaster every car like they have remastered all the old maps? The difference in quality between the old cars and new cars is definitely noticable. For example the Bolide only has one model for its engine even though it has three different types of engines to choose from. The Bluebuck on the other hand as several different models for the engine depending on how you customise it. The amount of configerations avaliable is also lacking with the bolide while the Bluebuck has a ton of premade configs for you to choose from and modify. To put it simply it doesn't really feel like these cars are part of the same game at times. P.S: How is the player data gathered going to influence vehicle remasters?, Are you only going to update the popular cars only?, Or are you going to update the least played cars first so that more people are encouraged to use them?
if you look at the timeline of cars, basically all of the early ones that aren't gavrils need attention. the bolide, moonhawk, and pigeon all need overhauls.
because that's what happens in real life, the only cars people think about when some one mentions America is Chevrolet and ford and they completely forget about every thing else. Same with the car enthusiasts who think their boxy 57 chev or their 68 mustang is absolutely invincible then become dumbfounded as to why the strange base model Plymouth smashed them at the lights. People look to a "hero" brand and forget every thing else that even bothered existing, as why I say... Bring Back the Big Bad Bruckells !, death to Gavril and its dictatorship over us...
Or maybe because they started with the cars that were oldest, relatively simple, and the fake body on frame cars.... There was a mention that all cars will get "remastered", though I'm not sure if that means texture updates and the like or small content increases like the GM or massive content increases like the D-Series. According to this comment: the data will partially be used to try and make less popular things more popular.
Ok, EVERYONE STOP DRIVING MOONHAWKS, don't even be tempted, don't even look at it in the selector in fact completely delete it from the damn selector !
Tl;dr, are the devs planning to make the game better? Probably? -Why only Gavrils so far? Because they are body on frame and are the easiest to rework so far. -Is this thread pointless? Yes.
Nah the Barstow is pretty good, I would only complain that the engine model texture are a little old, and my only suggestion is that the gauges should be sunk in to the fascia a little to avoid that nasty sun glare you get sometimes at certain times of the day
ok yeah the model it self is fine but is their going to be anything added like from my massive post in the update spec thread. You'd have to be blind not to see the potential in the Moonhawk, no offence
Thats not a remaster, thats just more features. Out all all the cars though the Legran is by far the worst, its not outdated just badly done to start with.
