woah, just woah, is the interior still the same, are there going to be 4 door variants, is there going to be different side trim, is there going to be a more slightly fastback option like the Buick sedanette and... I presume there are new hubcaps seeing as they are not shown or should I wait and see, and again, just woah
wow thats a lot of questions lol ill try to answer them and kinda give the reason behind them: -interior still the same with few improvements (real roadmaster from 48 and 53 wasnt much different anyway) -most likely no 4 door (very hard to model im surprised i managed to make it as it is lol) -different side trim probably yes -this is based on the sedanette soooo -no new hubcaps as of now you definitely should wait and see lol
thank you very much for answering but... do the interior changes include the gauges and steering wheel, those things have been bugging me ever since laid eyes on the burnside. They just don't seem right
well cant do much about steering wheel cuz most early 50s late 40s cars have similar ones but i edit it a small bit. also no the gauges will most likely be the same its very early WIP so hard to tell rn --- Post updated ---
OK, that was harder than I first thought, I made sure everything was swapped from side to side, including the window switches or the "Airbag" text on the dash, among other details, for all parts included on the car. Since the Cherrier duo contains a billion configs, I'm only going to include a couple in order to not clog the selection window even more, I still have to finish all remaining configs, and upload the update, that's it! BTW, I noticed a long time ago the characters are way too close together, but nothing I can do, as far as I know I have to choose between correct size, or correct spacing...
Finished main parts of the Vi-wagon and I gotta say I prefer that it is a wagon now There are some issues with the rear quarter glass texturing and I just noticed some mesh issues on the bumper, but those can be fixed I'm also debating whether or not I should "wagonize" the Tograc parts to make some Allroad type thing for the wagon itself, so for now I am uncertain that I will do that... yet. (Also it kinda looks like a Prius wagon now)
One thing i just noticed it does look kinda like its bent because of the roofline in relation to the bottom of the car. Id suggest maybe change the line on the doors a bit to straighten it out a bit like those pics here. But all in all hopefully it gets released because i really like it and would love to drive it!
