Would it be possible to make a mod that can allow you to increase/decrease temperatures on demand? For example you could make the engine temperature really hot or make the brakes ice cold.
Like for example I was screwing around with an AE86 mod and I'm recreating the scene where Takumi races Kyoichi and his engine blows on the straight, which was probably due to it being too hot.
This is just in case you really needed to get it done instead of waiting on a mod if that's what you're doing, I think you could recreate it without a mod. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've seen the show before. I think I know the scene you're talking about before the first engine swap. I believe it was a well used engine and though well maintained had a lot of miles and stress on existing parts, though undoubtedly heat played a factor! It would be more realistic to have it short geared and overrevved as I believe that's what happened. Pretty sure a rod or something went through the block/oil pan so I would say mechanical fatigue took it's toll. -Try to set a rev limiter to where it won't blow up immediately but will cause damage after being revved up to the limiter a couple of times and then hold it there on the straight till she blows -Wouldn't hurt to give it a couple good rips before you shoot it, to get the oil temp up there. -Use a stock/low performance radiator and an engine that isn't higher than stage 1 or so performance. Just a couple suggestions ya know. You can do a lot in this game even without mods.
I've done that stuff before. It was only an example lmao. But of course a temp-on-demand thing still could be super-useful for all sorts of scenarios, instead of having to manually configure stuff or rev the engine for a few minutes first or whatever.
