Before I get into this, I want to say thank you SO MUCH to the 88 people who have supported me on patreon the past 6 months while I've worked on this car. Your support allows me to spend a lot more time on this project, so to all of you, THANK YOU! Also a massive thanks to the people who helped me texture this car!


Brand new car! 1987 Crown Victoria, in sedan, coupe, and wagon bodies! I have spent a lot of time on this car and have had a big team of derby drivers test it out for the past 6 months. I'm incredibly happy with it. This car is currently set up for 80s stock/wire class, but more classes are on the way! With deformation as close as I can get to real life vics, this is by far my most realistic car yet. Play around with it, check out all the different parts, and find out what setup works best for you! (If you're confused about the frames, some are stronger than others )



Other than the vics, there's a ton of changes to all of the cars. I've adjusted and added to almost all of them since last update. I don't have a full list of changes, but the burnside got lots of attention.

BUGS - The big thing is that until Fairgrounds gets updated, these cars won't spawn into fairgrounds, but we're working together to get that done. Until then, the workaround is to spawn a stock or limited class, pause after the cars spawn, and switch the cars to Vics. If the CPU cars don't move, try toggling pause (J) a few times to reset it.

There's other small things, some texture and mesh issues, and some parts that need tweaking, especially on the kicker class stuff.

Bugs i've noticed:
chrome front wheels on the vic are orange
rear skidsteer tires look like plastic
the vic's parts listing in the ctrl+w menu is in no real order

 

clear cache should be paintable on the 3rd color picker, make sure you don't have it set to orange

 

also there's nothing for the vic's steering wheel to connect to

 

Can u also make the 1987 Crown Victoria a normal car as well?

Not in my plans, I get a lot of support from the derby community specifically, so I'll continue making cars for them. If a skilled modder wanted to take it on themselves, they are free to talk to me about it.

No timetable yet. These vics have taken half a year. I'd like to say I can do the next one faster but it's not a quick job.
Yes, there's a template in the mod for making your own skins.

Did I say burnside? Barstow is getting removed for being too small for fullsize. 1976 chrysler will be it's spiritual successor as a leaf sprung sub framed car.

The tractor flap headers aren’t working for me. I was just wondering if there was a way to fix that

 

When I try to upgrade the grand marshal for example add the engine cradle the back wheels disappear and I cant add them back is this a known problem?

 

Make sure spindles are on... is this in garage? People always say they have this problem in the garage, I don't use it.
