I have a question is the drag version supposed to be almost impossible to go in a straight line? But great work love it.
The amount of power mixed with drag tires and how light it is makes it not go in a straight line. In other words I can't make it not turn.
Yeah still light. And I don't mean there's no force feedback at all. I still barely feel bumps and it does self center but it's very faint. It's almost like overboosted power steering.
Hello, i've once got this pretty mod, thank you so much. I just found out there is a bare chassis also on the list. What's its purpose? totally customizable or anything?

Have you looked at this master car creation from CG masters? It's done in 2.79 now, but it's really in depth and has a lot of great tips as to how to get your mesh to look super clean and get different parts to blend together nicely. In other terms, does this ministock have real values for the suspension rebound and stuff, or is it done by feel? I was going to ask if it could be translated into a crosskart, but that seems kind of fundamentally different.
I know that course and I know it is a good one but I'm sure I don't need it. It's based around modelling with subdivision modifier which is usually something you really shouldn't use when making cars for beam. Plus, you are quoting a post from about 7 months ago when I wasn't as good at modelling as I am now. About the suspension, it is just based on the miramar suspension. A crosskart's suspension is very different, it has all round independent suspension while the ministock has a rear live axle beam. Also the suspension is just set up a lot differently.
Well, you CAN use subsurf for BeamNG cars, but "only" when you have it set to level 1 or 2, as the mesh density isn't that crazy high & looks to be about on par of the newer official BeamNG cars
Not sure what's going on. The steering is nice and heavy when you're stopped but goes to being just as light as before when you get above 10mph. Would you like me to make a video? I don't know if you have access to a wheel.
Well yeah you're right, I think the autobello and maybe the vivace had subsurf but I just prefer not to use it with BeamNG car body parts usually. It's great for making interiors though. I think it's fine now, just raised the strength multiplier so it should feel a lot better. Update will come out whenever it gets approval.

Alright, the force is there, but there still is a decent amount of deadzone. Although, there isn't much deadzone at all in turns
Yeah it's strange. It loads up just fine and then as soon as you start getting a hint of understeer, the force feedback completely goes away. Edit: okay I think what's going on here is that the inside wheel is being lifted off the ground making the outside wheel have a sudden loss of traction. It's more of a setup issue than a actual force feedback issue this time. On a side note is there any way you can make a second steering box that has a bigger steering ratio to make road racing a little easier. I understand that's not what this car is meant for but it would be fun to do regardless. It's just barreling into a corner at 118 mph getting on the brakes and turning in It's a little difficult with a 270° steering box lol
