I change the fundamentalfrequencyCylinderCount for the exhaust note but it doesn't see to have any impact on the sound when I increase the eqFundamentalGain, but it works on the engine note though..

    Hello there!

Increasing or decreasing the volume of the fundamental frequency might indeed not be as noticeable for some engine sets. Basically the "noisier" and engine, the less you will notice a change here. The filter band that is causing the fundamental frequency volume change is extremely narrow, only targeting a single tone/frequency of the whole sound. For a V8 or V12 for example, that fundamental frequency does not stand out a lot in relation to the volume of the neighboring frequencies. The results are much more obvious when changing the volume of the fundamental frequency of, for instance, a I4 exhaust. Also, this is only working for in-game engine/exhausts, not for mods, as we donĀ“t have any knowledge about the nature of mod assets. I hope that answers your question!

    All the best,
    Sebastian

You know hw when you change fundamentalfrequencyCylinderCount for the engine note and the you can hear the tone getting high or lower in pitch depending on what the value is set to? I only hear that with the engine not and not the exhaust note. The fundamentalfrequencyCylinderCount setting does not effect the exhaust note at all.
