Currently at an estate sale that's full of car parts, just met some of my neighbors (@Cory5503 @Denis15 ) in my neighborhood who are also looking for car parts. --- Post updated --- Well I came back with more than I bargained for, Bought this rust-free cab, bed, and frame deal for 1600$ at the estate sale. And in the deal it came with a free 6 speed auto out of a diesel, hinting to what was originally in the now vacant engine bay. I plan to take the 4-link suspension set up out of "Cracky" the truck and install it on the new truck, along with the crate motor also installed in Cracky.
I heard that a car guy is selling parts so I with my friends @Tuner from America and @Cory5503 got there. When he saw my car he said: oh man I have a place where I store parts for these beauties. So he took me there. I saw 2 buckets seats, spoiler and old mustang style wheels with bad tires so I bought it. Got home to my garage and started working on my car. I also got nearly new tires from my friend for a good price of 150 dollars. Got to my garage and replace my old tires with nearly brand new tires and it looks awesome. *After 2 hours* Here is the final version.
After completely revamping the old farm house, I was able to sell it for a bunch of money. I bought this new cheaper place, which is closer to all my friends, which is great. It also has a huge back yard, perfect for project cars.
After a long day of working on my new truck, and swapping parts over I've finished my new truck. Meet Ectasy, my new truck! Same internals and engine as before. Only things different is that now I have a grey interior and a regular hood. Oh, and some after market lights on my bull bar.
(@98crownvic , @shade-S is attempting to join the RP group. Would you be willing to grant him access? Thanks in advance!)
I'm at the gas station right now, where @Tuner from America has offered to get gasoline barrels for the generator my house has. @Cory5503 and @shade-S came as well, as they all helped me move and wanted to buy some house warming gifts.
As I make my way out of the gas station store, I looked to my left just as the tanker truck that was filling the station began to catch on fire. Me: Holy shit! Run! Everyone is yelling as we sprint away from the inferno, which ignites the propane tank and blows the face of the store building off, destroying our vehicles and sending us flying as if we were in an action movie. We all turn around to see the station itself become engulfed in flames and consume the cars beneath. I dial 911, but @brien_w beats me to it. First responders arrive on scene within minutes, however the word is that 4 people had already perished. From what I could see, the majority of our cars are totalled, but we should just be incredible thankful that we escaped with our lives.
about half an hour of waiting on scene, I was allowed to come back home in my Pessima. The whole drivers side was assaulted with debris, so that sucks. I'm pissed, because the car was running fine after the explosion. However, during the drive back, the transmission decided to fail. I knew it was close to death, but not this close. $500 was a scam. I got to push it home, luckily the drive was short. I guess I'm calling a tow truck, but I've got to get everything sorted out first. I have a big backyard, so I can store the Pessima back there for the time being. Later Heres my rental. Its a red 2009 Hirochi Sunburst CVT. I'm looking for a new car now, so that's great. Pessima is gonna be towed soon, although I've invited some folks over to pick it over for any parts. Hopefully I can get some money out of that. Luckily I have the house money as well, so cash isn't a big problem.
After the explosion at the gas station today, I was one of the more a less fortunate people to walk away (or drive away) from the gas station. In total 6 people died, 11 people we're hurt, and 13 car's and or trailers we're deemed total losses by various insurance companies. My truck's rear was absolutely pounded by cinderblocks when the convivence store blew up, to fix it I just need some straight pieces of wood and a rubber mallet to straighten out the side of my bed and my bumper, new taillights, tailgate, and a rear window to completely fix my truck. But I know the same cant be said for some of my other colleagues, a relief fund has been started by someone on GoBeamMoney.c0m to help those who we're affected such as victims', or their families members who we're affected. I've since donated 400$, enough for a whole months worth of car payments on a relatively cheap car. Hopefully Firwood can bounce back from this incident, but it will surely always be remembered...
@brien_w can i join the rp group? Its quite a bit boring being on the beamrp discord server with a lack of more then 3 or 4 people
I got an interesting deal today. It turns out that the rental company wanted to ditch the some of the older Sunbursts to make room for the upcoming Cherrier Vivaces, so they offered me a stellar deal on my rental if I would buy it from them. Ultimately, due to my lack of car, I bought it. I still need to buy a beater workhorse/off-roader, but this'll be my daily driver.
i realised i was already in the group. --- Post updated --- *Gets in my 1996 Pessima LX 2.0 and drives around Firwood*
