This guy was kind enough to test the game. I suppose many beanmng fans would like to see 3950x 16 core performance. As seen in the video thread/traffic opt. seem to end around 16 threads

    I have a 3950x.
    HUGE improvement over my i7-3770k.
With the 3770k, the game would start lagging at 6 cars.
Now, it handles 8 cars perfectly fine. I haven't tried going any further.

Some strange: at first with 10 cars he had 97% GPU and 60 fps, and with 20 cars he had 60% GPU and 30-40 !!! fps. Either CPU was not overloaded. With 30 cars it seems WAY MORE STRANGE.

What kind of monitoring was used?

There probably is some game engine bottleneck that isn't allowing the CPU to be more utilized. The GPU having lower usage indicated there is some CPU bottleneck. My guess is the AI code just isn't made to be controlling 20 cars at once, and I believe all cars within a certain distance of another car are checking for collision between vehicles all the time, which would make the game run exponentially slower with a linear car count increase.
