It isn't necessarily true. A piece of paper doesn't decide your pay. Mechanics can make more than six figures a year if they are good enough and work on the right cars, and most of them won't have a college degree.
Idk why people want so much toilet paper. You can't eat it, you can't drink it, why the hell would anyone care about staying clean when they might run out of food? It just doesn't make sense to me.
Make toilet paper roll castles or forts ofc. How else are you going to defend against the Coronavirus?
It's probably due to the immense panic, which has probably lead to a severe overestimation of what one actually needs.
Well, I mean. I'm sure there's engineers, lawyers, and doctors with college degrees making far more money then high school grads that didn't go into trades and are working at dead end jobs for minimum wage. However, there are people without college degrees that are billionaires. I watched a college video on YouTube where a professor said "The higher the education, the higher the wage" or some crap like that. I've pretty much heard about a lot of college stuff on the internet. By the way, according to Google. The minimum education requirement for mechanics is a high school, but employers prefer people who have completed associates programs. Also, I have a passion to make comedy/entertainment videos when I grow up. I hope make a living off that. Sorry I talk about this a lot, it's kinda of my obsession. --- Post updated --- Well, alright then.
And here's something I've thought about, I think another reason people are stacking up on toilet paper, is due to the possibility that if they don't, when they run out and need more, they can't get anymore because all the stores have run out, because of the panic buyers and the get rich quick scumbags exploiting the situation by selling them for insane amounts of $.
Probably also for "sanitary" reasons, even though toilet paper is more of a hygiene product like toothbrushes or mouthwash. There was an article that I read on the couple who had their Amazon account suspended for reselling disinfectants, and around the end of the article the author mentioned that people might also be confusing the coronavirus for norovirus. I honestly don't think that's the case though.
The minimum education requirement for a mechanic is usually only a diploma, but dealerships prefer you to be ASE certified in various areas. The great thing is that most places will encourage you to get more certifications as you work.
Cool, but what did you think about my statement of doctors, lawyers, and engineers with degrees making more then people who graduated high school, but didn't go into trades?
Thats true obviously. You need to remember that those people who are doctors, lawyers, and engineers will be drowning in debt for quite a while though.
That's a fair point, but college might be less expensive in Europe though. Sorry if it's sounds like l'm trying to argue with you. I'm not.
Yeah, I'm just looking at it from an American point of view. No worries, friendly discussion is a good thing.
Well man, I'm glad. I don't know what college is like in Europe. If any European on here would answer my question about what college is like in their area, that would be awesome. Anyways, I have an uncle who is a university professor and even he doesn't think everyone should be forced to go to college. Anyways, I'm done posting tonight. I will go watch some Total Wipeout. For anyone on here that don't know what Total Wipeout is. It's a game show with Richard Hammond as a presenter. EDIT: I made a mistake. Fixed it though =P
