BLISTA HIGHLANDS (Release date: N.Y.D.) Blista Highlands. This is my new map which I have been working on since November 2019. Prior so much progress, it began normally when I was just testing out few tools in the World Editor and thinking about making a good-looking map which resembles the quality of the official maps. Work on the map was going on in full speed when suddenly lockdown was announced, I lost my motivation and the map work was paused. But now I am trying my best to reignite my motivation and complete half the work on my map quickly and release this map before the end of this year…probably I’ll also release when the map will reach “Beta” stage. Two days ago, I published a video on my channel where I have showcased the progress on my map till now. Eventually, I would like to say that keep visiting this thread for more updates on the map. Blista Highlands is a replacement of my previous cancelled “Arnok’s Isle” map due to loss of motivation and unclear ideas. Take a quick tour. Read out the full updated story of this map. Spoiler: STORY As the tourism in the world is booming and is the major source of the income, The Government of Europe held a discrete meeting with the city planners, architects and major organizations and came up with an idea of creating another city just outside Azerbaijan where vast semi-arid land resides. Of course, this project was not an easy one. It was to be build perfect and attract tourists from around the world and generate revenue. The COBOL Architects and the W.I.E.T. become the part of this project and ensure that no natural structures and habitat shall be intervened. SPAWNPOINTS: Spawnpoint #1 - The Ibixine Cult Description: Away from the modern advancements. This 80 years old established settlement are happy to live in their own ways as they are defended by the European Government. Spawnpoint #2 - Finetti City Description: The Finetti city is a must visit location in Blista Highlands. Over a billion dollars have already been spent on the construction and still half of the work on it is remaining to be done. Spawnpoint #3 - The Big Needle (Sky's the Limit) Description: No parachute Features: Wide long, twisty and tricky asphalt roads, dirt roads, bridges, rail tracks, a small isolated village, drag racetrack on the hill, one big city (similar to Belasco City in terms of size) and more. Ideas are important part in map making which makes a map look good in quality. Right now, my think tank is empty and I'm trying to fill it with ideas so that I can carry on my work on the map. You guys can post your ideas here. Let's see if we can succeed in reawakening this sleeping thread again..
Well, ima throw in some ideas, Maybe a deserted and damaged racetrack, that could be used as one, but also presents the challenge of the uneven terrain. A derby track A rally track, maybe 2, as one would be used and one still in good condition. A test facility? Maybe since there are hills, an old ski ramp for cars, that was once used for a stunt, but shut down, with rotten wood, but the ramp still useable These were just some ideas i had, threw em out, some probably missed, cause i have bad aim, but i hope they gave you some ideas.
Thank you for sharing your ideas. I personally liked the deserted and damaged racetrack idea. It kind of gives the feel of some place present in dry land which can be visited and explored. I also like to make rally tracks (mostly twisty and challenging ones). I'll put ramps once I finish my half of the work on my map.
That lighting part took me a lot of time. you could have simply given me some suggestion to improve it instead of commenting a word which would highly demotivate me.

I like the Purple, I think the Ugly is rather Awesome looking... The Mini Truck would look better with a Supercharger sticking out of the bonnet. I'm looking forward to being able to spear the UTE on top of the building Hancock Style...
so you're expecting the tower to look more like the one in the pic you've attached. for that i have to use way lot of spotlights. then too i'll try my best and see what i can come up with? anyways, thanks for the suggestion and next time try to comment in affirmative way as much as possible. map making is not an easy task. --- Post updated --- the "ugly one" is actually called Big Needle tower and if you've red the description above; there is a bonus spawnpoint available which spawns you high up on the B.N tower and from where you can make deadly drops and obliterate your car.
Today, I worked a bit on my map and added a new building with fancy spotlights. This new building is the "Expo Center" with "EXPO" signage created using MeshRoads. Let me know what you guys think?
