I'm aware of what a Centurion is. I watch Regular Car Reviews.

If I weren't an absolute 0 of 3D design. The fact that by code the D and H series share so much, the van conversion is as easy as coping the H series body files and changing the slot of the body to the D-Series cab slot.
Of course the D-Series bumper dont mach but hey, 5 minute 0 effort mod.
    Edit:
Here it is, for all of you to mess around.

It's not every day that I get to click the red check box ;)

This is another suggestion for something I saw on a YouTube episode from Dirt Every Day, a Vemco Spicer V-Drive.

Vemco is a company from Indiana that was putting these things onto third gen Chevy G-Series and third gen Ford E-Series vans. Everything behind the transfer case is normal while ahead of the transfer case lies one driveshaft and differential per wheel. I've never heard of these but they are so weird that I can't not suggest it. The vehicle model in beam makes this game perfect for this sorta weird stuff, and it would certainly be a unique option for the H-Series.

Some history on them: Trail’s End: May 1965, V is for V-Drive
TLDR: Chevy contracted Dana engineers in '65 to do something for their Blazers, vans, and station wagons and they came up with this, which obviously did not catch on.

As for the inevitable "leave it to the modders"... Yes, this is certainly out there, but like I said above Beam's vehicle model makes this game perfect for showing off weird stuff. It would be nice to include some oddities and failed experiments officially.

As for the inevitable "But the H-Series is a late 1990/early 2000 Gavril, not a late 1970's Chevy or Ford". Yes, that is correct. And I don't care. The H-Series could easily get a pre-facelift to push the year back that far anyway...

I wonder what things the H series will get with the update. Obviously, there is the long awaited passenger van version, but considering the pickup is getting a pre-facelift fascia, Is it possible that the H series could get a more modern nose, like the for E series/chevy express, perhaps with sealed beam and more fancy headlight versions?

Edited for format and clarity except for where otherwise noted. Also updated to reflect the 0.19 update and added reference photos.

I think a previous generation van is a necessity for the H-Series. The third gen Vandura lasted from '71-95 and the Econoline has been on the same frame since '75, so it's definitely reasonable to get a van culture era H-Series with all the goodies that entails. Which is a lot of goodies.

I don't thing a modern face-lift is necessary, partially because it already has such limited model years for a van that it could be bumped backwards and forwards significantly without being out of place, eliminating the need for a face lift. I wouldn't turn down the option though, content is content and it is an option.

As for other stuff we are likely to see...
-Certainly a passenger van, probably extended and conversion since they should be quick to make, relatively speaking.
A minibus is a good possibility (and would give us a second option for bus route game-play, which is significant)
-A camper is possible but less likely since it's as much work as the minibus while not offering anything new to game play.
-Type 2 Ambulance. Less cumbersome than the one we currently have.
-One of those Centurion fifth wheel conversions would be cool, but that's really far out there. The most major alt body style we have is the D10 Charro, which isn't even in the same league as those Centurions in terms of extensive modifications. Edit: Now that we have Kentarch as a brand, combined with how often it is suggested, this is actually looking fairly likely

-Just like her platform cousins, this truck needs a big block V8, and a V10 would not be significantly out of place.
-I mentioned the V-Drive above... I know that's beyond far out there for official content, but that would be a great way to show off the drive train system and a really unique option for an off road build. How many games out there are capable of simulating a V-Drive?.. To be fair, I don't even know how Beam would handle it either... Weird suspension is a great way to get people's attention aimed at how detailed and capable the vehicle model is.

Also, I imagine the entire config selection will be completely reworked. We don't need both the Vandal and Off-Road as of 0.19 we now have three of these for some reason, we need fleet trucks to match the GM and D-Series, we need at least one i6 config and one of the weird catch-all derby/dirt racing configs, etc...
    Passenger van:

    Camper Van:

    Type 2 ambulance:

    Centurion E350:

I still want 2.5 ton axles on the platform and I'm hiding it in here because I mention it a lot :p

I'm down for a V-Drive van. Also be cool to compare how inefficient and easily it would break compared to the contemporaries

Beam can absolutely simulate the V-shaft thing, multishaft should be able to do it pretty nicely ( https://wiki.beamng.com/Powertrain ). And for the wheel difts. I imagine them being simple reductors, soo the reduction ratio could be aded to the wheel shaft winouth problems really
But if you could gather tecnical data on how it was build and designed, It could be added right away as powertrain is concerned, but for 3d stuff, that is out of my leage.

Here's a theory: I think eventually we will see the Vanster/Cabster get updated like the D-Series and Grand Marshal. But, only time will tell, folks.

Considering they said all vehicles will be looked at eventually combined with the fact that they said the D/H-Series+Roamer will be looked at next also combined with the fact that they are all similar and share many parts and the H-Series is now the only one of the 3 platform cousins to not have been specifically given new content since the remasters started. I'd say yes.

another thing to mention is that the H series is currently the only one of the 3 utility vehicles which doesn't have the updated universal suspension.

With the reveal of the LXT Roamer body, I'm starting to wonder if there are any plans to bring in an H35 Vanster. An intermediate step between the H25 and H45 with an extended body and single eight-lug wheels all around.

    screenshot_2020-03-24_17-05-53.png
We've got some of the ingredients - the Heavy-Duty Extended Long Bed Frame from the D-series looks about the right length, especially accounting for length of lowered floorpan between the axles.

We'd probably want the commercial-grade Heavy Duty 8-Lug hubs for this application, necessitating the addition of the current hubs from the front as an option on the rear (as you can see, they are slightly different lengths). This would make sense in-universe, as a 'parts bin' thing that simplifies production and fleet maintenance.

With all of the parts except for the extended van body in game, and both the Roamer and D-series having recently undergone lengthening and shortening, I think that this is something that seems likely.

I can't help but notice the lower part of the front fenders in this image, they don't go all the way down to the height of the base of the bumper. does this mean the front bumper is getting revised to wrap around to the wheel arch, like the picture below?

Is anyone else having trouble with the "driver" camera on the van? I tried it out today, and the cockpit camera is missing for some reason.

No, that didn't do it. It's not even an option in the cameras menu:

The Body is too strong, its actually one of the strongest vehicles in impact, the metal should be weaker, like D series for example. Also T series will be interesting with Fiberglass hood, like the real trucks :)
