As manfred said, the Roamer is only a couple years too early to get a luxury version. Even then, the Roamer isn’t a suburban, it’s a Roamer. As for the pickup, I’d be happy with more content and a slightly more modern pickup truck. I don’t think it’s unrealistic as there are those Cadillac Escalade pickup trucks. Yeah, the Roamer isn’t an Escalade, but if they pulled it off the Roamer can too.

    No, it probably didn't.
But the Gavril Roamer is not a Chevrolet Suburban.
Neither is it an Explorer, or a Navigator, or a whatever else.

The point is, more unique parts/features to diversify the cars in game is always better.

Personally I really wish they were split up into classes (for example, replace "drag" with pro-street, super-stock, pro-mod, etc...)

Also, interiors across the board need attention. I don't like that my drag Barstow has such a nice interior aside from the door panel delete, or that the 'buck* interceptor has a factory interior...

*Is this an acceptable nickname? -_-

The answer is yes actually. The gen 1 Escalade was based on the GMT400 trucks which are similar to the D-Series. The Navigator also was released in the same time period which is already similar to the Roamer.

They don't follow any kind of regulations, there are no restrictions on power or specific groups that they fit into as they are now.
Having configurations meet regulations could potentially bring actual proper racing to the table.

To me Race/Rally configurations at the minute are just stripped down top-trim variants with all the best parts on, with zero regard to any regulations what so ever.
And the fact that most of the default race cars have 4WD, where only two driven wheels are permitted in most, if not all, racing classes.

If realism is the goal, then the race configurations need completely reworking because none of them would have been allowed to compete irl.
And, with the exception of maybe one or two cars (I-Series / Bolide?), there are no homologation models.

And shortly after the Roamer would have finished its production, the Cadillac Escalade ESV and EXT, as well as the Lincoln Blackwood, debuted.

Well, there might be a luxury config of the Roamer xlt, but we'll just have to see.

Anyways, I'm actually amazed that this thread now has 1085 pages.

If you ask me, it would make more sense for a luxury Roamer to fall under the Burnside name, considering how Burnside is seen as a luxury brand to Gavril, and it would follow the trends of SUVs with luxury counterparts that the Roamer is similar to.

Ford Explorer and Expedition - Lincoln Navigator
Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe, GMC Yukon - Cadillac Escalade

Gavril Roamer - Burnside Roamer (replace Roamer with more fitting name)

The one issue with that is I thought Burnside went defunct in the 80's.

    That's a problem then.

I possibly would have a solution for that, and that is the idea that Gavril revived Burnside with luxury configurations of the preexisting vehicles already in their lineup. Whether or not it would successful would be another topic.

Considering the Special is the only Burnside there is, there's very little content to judge the company as a whole on.

Burnside is not a luxury brand, but more of a midrange one.

well in RoR, there latest car was made in the 80's. As far as I know, there is no supporting evidence that the company is gonem.

Everyone forgetting that Synsol beat all of you to it?..

As for the idea of a Burnside Roamer... There's as much evidence to say that Burnside is defunt as there is any other old RoR/2013 era BeamNG thing. Which is to say, none.

IMO the Roamer is probably just going to get a luxury special edition like the D-Series Chief Rancher or IRL Eddie Bauer Fords. A Burnside for a lot of the Gavrils would be nice though. Get some different engine options and fascias/trim/bumpers/accessories, nicer interior, etc...
