I didn't crash, the Camry wasn't damaged after being pitched backwards into the median.
I couldn't disable the ABS via a fuse so I unplugged the abs module, which caused a whole host of problems, including a check engine light and non-functioning speedometer. All the warning lights pictured below turned off and the speedometer started working after I finished sliding and plugged the ABS module back in, but the CEL persisted. I had to unplug the ECU to reset it and turn off the CEL.
@redrobin It happens to the best of us, champ.

    https://www.topgear.com/car-news/geneva-motor-show-2020/new-octavia-vrs-performance-plug-hybrid

The new Skoda Octavia vRS is out, and it's... slower than the previous one, going back to a 7+ second 0-100 km/h time, mostly as a result of the hybrid tech necessary to meet new emission standards coming into play.

And you know what? I don't care. If we are going to cut transport emissions, it's better to do it on performance cars that a fraction of people will care about, than on professional transportation like trucks and ships that will have a measurable impact on the economy that 100% of people live in.

Your thinking behind that is the reason I've just cut the cats off my car. You're murdering the environment now. It's all on you.

You have cut the cats off. Not me.

And then you wonder why government agencies have so much power...

Oh no, it's purely because you specifically said something.

Look, I like jolly polar bear as much as the next guy, but when cunts like you shove their propaganda down my throat I set my sights on them for destruction.

There is going to be a 245hp only petrol and a 200hp diesel wich will be faster. Im normally a huge skoda fan (hence my name) but im a little underwhelmed with the new RS i like the old one much more also the 245hp engine from the new one is the same that was in the old one

Did you know that one's fun can be harmful to other people, or even to them?

People have to be tied down. Tragedy of the commons and all that.

Everyone knows that, but lately I think a lot of people just plain know it too well. The world is run by insatiable robots-in-human-skin who apparently have nothing better to do than run around pointing out everything they think is wasteful or inefficient or unsafe. They do not feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and they will not stop, ever, until you are dead inside. What I want to know is, where do we draw the line? When do we just stop listening to these people? Where do we go "alright, mission accomplished, we're safe and sustainable enough, now leave us alone forever?"

There comes a point where people should stop using slippery slope arguments because the situation as it currently is should be condemned outright, and I think we're well past that point. We've become so "woke" and so devoid of actual problems to face that some people have started calling for helium balloon bans. The fact is, you could claim that just about anything "could be harmful to" someone and use that to justify yet another ban. We've already seen it with NYC's nannying junk-food regulations. I'm only half surprised that we haven't reached the point of government-funded studies on proper everyday breathing technique and the exact right amount of air per breath taking into account all known sustainability concerns.

    What's it to you?

And who's to do the tying? Who among us is worthy of such a task?

I will probably get report brigaded and my post deleted if I answer this one in any way. Take that as you will.

    Not everything is harmful.

But many things are, and it seems like you are just trying to blind yourself instead of facing the reality and changing your behavior.

I think we are definitely safe enough, even too safe in some countries, but that's just my opinion as someone who values freedom over safety. We are most definitely no sustainable enough though, at our current rate we are going to run out of oil. I don't know what the right answer is, but I know our current method of choking vehicles with emissions equipment to the point that they get considerably worse fuel economy is not the right answer.

I think it looks really good. Though of course, it's nothing that I could ever afford.

impressive how this S class seems to have more features than today's luxury cars (albeit a much more dated infotainment system)
